Cremation service

The result of a free and conscious choice, the act of cremation makes it possible to meet a number of hygienic and environmental requirements to which society is gradually becoming accustomed.

Many people think that cremation is a substitute for a funeral. In fact, cremation is a means of preparing a person for a different burial service desired by the family, such as burial or placement in a garden or the possibility of scattering the ashes in the wind or at sea.

Keeping pace with the times and changing customs, we have created, from the very beginning, a bridge with those institutions that are the reference point for the cremation service.

In agreement with Socrem Florence, Ofisa opens its agencies to anyone wishing to realise this last wish of the dearly departed. The agreement makes it possible to obtain considerable advantages for what is wrongly considered a 'cheaper' funeral.

What can we do with the cremated remains?

Ofisa offers several options. Most families will choose a cemetery for burial or inurnment. The cemetery will be maintained forever and provide a place to stay as a dignified place to visit and honour the memory of a loved one.

Some families decide to take the cremated remains home or it is possible to scatter the ashes in the sky as well as in the sea.

The special conditions required for cremation - ecological casket, water paint, wooden handles, etc. - make the procedures as complex as traditional ones. Our company takes care of completing the paperwork required by law and thus carrying out the wishes of the deceased without further suffering for the relatives.

and as a matter of practice, Ofisa will advance the costs of the service to each customer.
